Week after week I am waiting for the media to deliver a story of hope or good news about the economy. It seems like every day a new small business is closing its doors – a hardware store where I bought supplies for my first apartment in college just put up a “Lost our Lease” sign. But just last week I finally got some good news…in my inbox at work. About a month ago we opened our first international location, MaidPro of Airdrie in Alberta, Canada. Richard, co-founder of MaidPro, forwarded me an email from the very excited owner, telling us how many homes they were cleaning and that he was excitedly thinking about expansion!
It really is nice to hear about some small business success when it seems like bad news is just around every corner. Keep up the great work, guys. Can’t wait to see you take over Canada!
