MaidPro follows the policies below to ensure every cleaning goes as smoothly and cleanly as possible.

Safety

Keys and Alarm Systems

Most MaidPro customers leave a key to their home at our office.  And we are very careful to protect each key. We assign each customer's keys with a security code and store them in a key safe. No personal identifying information is ever put on any key. Also, for your safety, we do not return keys by mail. We ask that customers come in person to the MaidPro office and present a picture ID before a key will be released. If you have an alarm system, please give access instructions to your MaidPro office. 

Employees

Our cleaning PROs are very important to us, and we are very serious about keeping them safe. Our PROs do not use ladders or move anything heavier than 35lbs. These types of activities put our employees in danger of a fall or back injury. If you would like us to clean behind large appliances like a refrigerator, oven or sofa, please move it prior to our cleaning PROs arrival so we may have access to the desired area.

Bleach

We do not use bleach as a cleaning product because of the possible damage it can do to surfaces or items in your home. We use safe products in the best interest of our planet and every individual whose life we touch. If you request us to use bleach supplied in your home, please be aware that we will not be responsible for any damage caused by its use.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel service or skip a cleaning day, just give your local MaidPro office a two business day notice prior to the scheduled cleaning. Your notice will allow us to reassign the cleaning PRO to another appointment. If MaidPro receives less than two business days’ notice, or if we can’t access your home, it may be necessary for us to charge the full price of your cleaning.

Arrival Notice

If you would like to wait for your cleaning PRO to give them access into your home, please note that you will be given an arrival window of about 4 hours — such as 9am to 1pm or 11am to 3pm. Many things can affect our arrival time, such as cancellations, lockouts or customers adding services, so in most cases a smaller arrival window can’t be provided. We want to save you time, not make you waste it waiting for us to arrive. Leaving a key at the MaidPro office ensures that your cleaning PRO will have access to your home and you won’t have to wait for us. Your key will be kept safe and secure in our key safe and coded for security. Keys can be left at our office anytime during normal business hours.

Payments And Refunds

Payments

MaidPro gladly accepts the following forms of payment:

  • MasterCard
  • Visa
  • Cash
  • Personal check

Payment is due at the time of service.  All customers are required to leave a credit card number on file to hold a cleaning.  In the event you forget to leave payment on your scheduled cleaning day, your credit card will be charged. A $25 fee is applied for all returned checks. After each cleaning, your account will be charged the balance due, plus any fees.

Re-Clean Guarantee

Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. Since we always want you to be 100% satisfied, just let us know of any issues or concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will do our best to make it right.    

Tipping

MaidPro never requires you to tip, but it is a powerful way to say thanks to your cleaning PRO. Even a personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.

Referral Fee

MaidPro invests in the recruitment and training of the best cleaning PROs we can find. Our PROs are so great that occasionally people ask if they can hire them directly. If you wish to hire a present or past MaidPro staff member, our referral fee is $2,500. This fee is due within 30 days of notification from MaidPro. If the fee is not paid, MaidPro reserves the right to pursue other methods of collection.

Breakage and Loss

MaidPro is bonded and insured. Our liability limits are set at a maximum of 10 times the cost of the service charge on the day in which the breakage/loss occurred. Notification must be made within 48 hours of service.  Key replacement / locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost or miscoded. There is a $100 per location liability limit.
